Milk fished in his pocket and drew out a round metal object about the size and shape of a pocket compass. Myusername was intrigued enough to enquire what it was that he held. "It is a Bonominator" said Milk. "This is the KK model with a pearl inlay. There are very few of them left in circulation. They were made by the SIMONDO corporation but a flaw in the manufacturing caused the company to stop making them" What was the flaw? asked Myusername "The strong magnetic impulse they give off seemed to affect the hormones of some people." replied Milk. "Although it was never proven, there was anecdotal evidence that many of the owners became windsurfers after using the device for a long period". Myusername gasped. "I know" said Milk. "I try to use it for limited periods only and usually lock it away in a lead lined safe when I'm not using it. One of my best friends Dave fell victim to it" said Milk. "He was a kite boy, Dave initially but he slowly turned and before you knew it he was out there on a Bic". "What is its function?" asked Myusername backing away." It can tell me the moment anyone crosses the outer perimeter of the estate." replied Milk. "It has other properties but that's all you need to know for now. I had trouble with a fellow called Darth at one stage" said Milk. "This thing helped me avoid him until he grew weary of coming around. It was an excellent tool to use as a Darth evader".

Milk gazed at the Bonominator. There was movement on the lawn. A figure was moving silently toward the house. Milk peered closely at the small screen then pressed a button. On the roof a missile burst forth from its chute and in a flash of light burst at the feet of the intruder. All that remained was a crater and a cloud of dust that slowly dissipated. "did you recognise him" asked Myusername. Yeah replied Milk. Character called the Doctor. "I don't think he was a real Doctor though" said Milk. "Windsurfer?" asked Myusername "Probably" replied Milk.

The drunk slowly meandered up the street turning one way then another. Reaching the bus shelter he turned to the waiting crowd. "Where's the bus ter WA?" he demanded as a spray of spittle escaped his mouth.. "The BUS ter WA? When's it goin?" He faltered then sat down heavily on the bench. "Looks like he needs a Doctor" said someone. "So sad" said another.

The dark shadow in the corner finally moved. This time so that all of them were sure they saw it. It flexed and then enveloped the drunk man. He could barely stifle a short gasp before it bore it's entire weight down on him, smothering him under its sinewy outline. Ands he was no more. Finally he had been shut the **** up and could complain about no man no longer, as was his habitual conversation to anyone that was poor enough to lend him an ear. A great sigh of relief rose up from all.
