The sound emanated from the darkest corner of the cave. Both men left their seats, crouched in fighting stance and turned to meet the unknown threat. The source of the sound revealed itself as it travelled at speed toward them both. Seeking a target it wavered from Milk to Myusername before settling on Milk and driving home its attack. The dog leapt at Milks throat and slathered him with its tongue. Time and time again it jumped at Milk its tail thrashing in joy.Cisco? cried Milk? What are you doing down here?? Milk fished a sausage out of his coat pocket and flipped it to the dog. Here you are my friend. I wondered where you were. Try this. It's better than mackerel? The meat bounced along the ground up the gradient before slammin off the wall. The dog unhooked itself from Milks embrace and chased after the prize. Two things it loved. One, its master Mr Milk, and two sausages. Oh and also teacake if it was available. Milk looked at the dog and wondered at how quickly his life had changed. Only yesterday he was playing golf with Dan Berry and Ted the Kiwi. Now all he was able to do was to remember driving up the fairway, then hitting to the green, pat the dog that was with them then going for a drink. It seemed like another world.
"This is frightening" said Myusername. "What will happen to us?" he asked.
"Turn anxiety off, calm on" said Milk existentially.

"We must consider this rationally" said Mr Milk. "It certainly looks as if we've had a major data leak here. Perhaps my server Cisco has been compromised. But we can worry about that later. For the present new user identities are vital. With a higher level of encryption of course .Elbeau, the "Beautiful One", shall be re-designated as "The Gondolier" and reassigned to the romantic fiction workshop. His first assignment will be titled "my pen is in Venice"
I can't believe I've taken the bait, but, like Oscar Wilde said, "there is only one thing worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about"
