Memo/notice punch line -
"Thank you for your understanding " or "Thank you in advance " or " Thank you for your cooperation" I am sure there are more.
One more " Thank you for your patience ".
Are these types of comments needed, are they a bit of an assumption or arrogant as often one may not agree or feel insulted?

One of my biggest pet hates. I may not do what they're asking simply because of it.
In business, Yes! They are needed. It's great to be friendly, but the absence of these stinks of familiarity.
Big fan, I see it as a free thank you. If I don't do it, I still got the thanks already , and if I do it, then I usually get another thanks once I do it. So it's basically something for nothing.
anyone giving away thanks with no deposit like that is a grade A sucker imho.
