Interesting. Existence must have been harsh and brutal certainly, even today people are in awe of celestial shows or displays. Existence must also been extremely mundane so all the more reason for inciting fear or excitment from a cosmic occurance. I too see it rearing its ugly head again in the form of global warming. The rock symbols are at most 100 000 years old and a lot of the symbols less than 5000 - did Venus move from an orbit further out than Mars to where it is today (on the other side of Earth closer to the sun) in less than 5000 years???
