Went to Hawaii with a mate from school. His family went and offered to take me too, since we surfed every day together. Was an awesome trip for a 16 year old! (Did "big" pipe and even had 6ft and perfect Little Waimea to ourselves for an entire afternoon, complete with a dread-locked guy on the point playing bongos.)
We thought to climb this mountain. It's a lot bigger than it appears from the ground. About half way up we were attacked by a swarm of wasps, which ended our push for the summit.
