Thats right people, go stand out under the powerlines with corrugated iron sheets in them. It's as safe as houses

The storm hit here mid-afternoon on Saturday, had taken family to the beach for a snorkel & sup...15mins later decided to pack up as the temperature suddenly changed. Got one sup on the roof racks & nearly got the second one (homemade kids sup) on there when it hit - pulled the board out of my hands & threw it about 30m away. The wife grabbed hold of the sup whilst I chased the other one, got back, wedged it under the tyre & tied on the one on the roof whilst the wife rescued our 16mth old that was doing the best screaming Moses impersonation (barely able to stand up in the wind, arms out).

Finally got both boards tied on, kids in the car & sat to watch the massive front come across the harbour through the windscreen - was a great show, love the summer storms!

Mineral, Whyalla SA. There is lots of golf ball hail damage sounds unreal on a tin roof. I'm not sure if the 100 golf ball dings in a car roof makes it go faster[}:)]
Check out this clip sounds needs to be on for the effect.

^^^Thanks EB, I should have remembered the view from the hill, as I was there in Van Park on the beach in Jan this year for a few days.
Hope you get some good days in on that flat water near Van Park when it blows.
