Have to feel sorry for any other women who ever had any hopes of becoming PM here. Certainly isn't fair but I can't see another woman being given a dinkum chance at it for as long as it takes to forget Juliars god awful squawking.

Are you sure you are an Aussie?? You sound more like a Socialist to me whose loyalties lie with the mother country, Britain.

Henry Lawson could have been called a Socialist too. He wrote more words than are in the Bible and I believe defined Australianality. He had a huge personal challenge when he was summoned to Britain to receive honours from Royalty.

If you have read any of his works, what is your slant on his ethic??

My position is that I am a decendant of an Irishman from Belfast who was a veteran of the Battle of Waterloo and due for retirement but was offered passage to in the third fleet, and employment in, Australia as a "Trap" ie cop. (I have the documented family history.)

My attitude is that I am totally offended by the infiltration into our government by persons foreign with questionable right to be in the positions they are.

I believe Australia is the best country in the world to live in but I also believe it is being suborned and raped by foreign or global interests.

So how about Henry Lawson; was he a hypocrite or did he truly define the people's ethic??
