I forgot how emotional the olympics made me. watching the women's slope style just now (and I have never skied) I felt like I was riding every jump and every rail with those girls. I can't even do half that stuff over water, let alone ice (on a 45 degree downhill slope). Damn you channel 9!
Come to think of it, there has been a precedent. I watched some Ethiopian dude win the marathon in Atlanta '96 at 2am and I cried.

I heard on telly that Schapelle got released but that was about it
I feel the same way.
I ski and snowboard equally well, probably tending towards the board more now as I haven't skiied in a while.
