not big on crays myself. personally think they are over rated and hyped up.
I'd prefer breath hold and a great tasty fish on the end of a spear. nice haul though and yeah on the shore dives theres been a lot lately, although almost all of them have been small.

A bit of advice. Check/measure your catch measure gauge. A customer got done because one cray was .2 undersize. But fine on his gauge. Turns out his gauge that was three days old was not accurate. $180 by our best and finest Fisheries officers in the world![]()
Not really mate. Sometimes ledges or nests can have literally hundreds in them. Then go back the next day and they have taken off somewhere else.
That's called pillaging Flusha, imagine if everyone took that many from their "one spot" :(

Crayfish can travel 3kms a day. Chances are if they are pink crays- your favorite reef shelf restocks event night.
The largest cray we caught was just under 4kg.
