Building a new house... Gunna finally have enough space to have the gear stored properly rather than piled in the shed. Anyone got some awesome setups [with pics!] for their gear? I am trying to work out a good setup for kites, wings, SUP, wing board, foils, surfboards, kiteboards, skateboards, wetties, snowboards, skis etc etc...

Yep both- 32c garage ceiling and 2m x 6m space beside the cars. Looking for neat ways to keep foils assembled, hang gear for drying, protect stuff from
bashing into walls etc!
My garage is set up for a tight space with two cars so not similar to what you're doing. Most of the storage is hanging from the ceiling. There's a few things that might suggest stuff to you.
- Some old carpet and a sheet of EVA foam in the loading/unloading area. That stuff has saved quite a few dings to boards and foils that get dropped or bumped. It's easy to vacuum sand and dust a few times a year. If I redid the garage I'd think about carpeting part of the floor and maybe up the walls in board storage area. Bits of the EVA get cut off from time to time for projects and it has gone between boards on a road trip.
- There's a rack/shelf arrangement holding boards, kites and wingdings. The kite/wingding shelf extends about 2.5m. There's a second shelf about a 100mm below that holds disassembled foils and masts and kite bars. It's easy to slot stuff in and out of there before/after heading out for the day.
- In the end of the garage a rack made of a rectangle of 50mm plastic pipe (50cm x 2.5m) is slung from the ceiling. That's mainly for kites and windings, but anything else that needs to get out of the way goes there. It's sort of working wetsuit storage at various times of the year. That's been there for 20 years and has dried all sorts of stuff. It's been very handy.
I have just started to stand my boards upright against the wall (on the board tail on top of rubber foam mats).
Not sure if the weight on tail can cause damage

i currently have boards all piled up like you gboots but figure it can be a bit more tweaked.
and yeah the gear would get priority over the car lotofwind but figure i should be able to fit it all in 33 cubic metres if it is well organised (or close to 50 cubic metres if i don't want to access one side of the car) 
Can you all hurry up and post more pics. I need to know who's got the best stuff to rip off.

I know at least two people who have had all their gear stolen, either with the car or from the car.
Apart from security, it's nice to be able to drive straight into the garage and have everything secure. It's also nice in the middle of winter to be able to manage all the gear in a warm dry garage.
Here's a pic of the drying rack. It was a quick and dirty prototype 20 years ago and it just stayed that way.
