Meh!!

Kite buggy to land yacht is like Volkswagen Variant to Ford Mustang.

The land yacht and Mustang might be cheap, nasty and basic technology, but they go like the clappers and give more bang for the bucks.

I'd have to disagree with you there you get so much more out of a kite buggy if you have the balls to ask for it

. . . .. .just have a look at what the flexi team riders and stupid Dave are banging out in the UK . . .insane tricks and closer to home over east . . . Luke Southern pulling out buggy off varials
. . . .these guys show what can truly be done on a kite buggy

. . . . its easy enough to do 100kmh in a buggy the top speed boys are regularly doing 130km/h plus not as fast as a land yacht im sure . . .

but i've seen these guys going mental in 80+ km/h winds (gusting way higher) pulling out insane freestyle at speed not just getting a slide on while changing tac or direction . . . yawn

. . . . you can pick up a budget buggy and old fixed bridle as cheap as a land yacht and they pack away into a car not onto the roof rack

So what side of the road do we drive on in Oz? Isn't the steering wheel of the car on the left hand side? ..... I'm VERY worried about some drivers now with a comment like that.

In the back seat along with the sail and boom. The mast is sectioned into three pieces roughly equal to the boom/sail foot length.

Swing over to the land sailing section to find out what you are missing out on.

They can be and is usually the case with larger high performance yachts.

The Americans have some amazing yachts with foil section "sails".

Aus 230 has built a foil "sail" for his mini yacht and there is the venerable "Vindicator" here in Aus too.

There are a few blokarts that have cracked the 100 kmh mark and blokarts are the ultimate in portability.
