We are currently pushing to prevent the actions taken by our government to kill innocent sharks. We need to gain some international pressure to stop this action taking place. Please help us by clicking the below and joining us in protecting these majestic ocean dwellers. Join the thunderclap! https://www.thunderclap.it/en/projects/8290

Well I looked.

"Do you want to stop 66 tonnes of rotting meat hanging 1 km off your favourite swimming beaches?"

Keh?

Support the Drink Driver Cull, they kill more people on roads than sharks kill people.

Interesting story jb, full of figures supplied by UMR. Have to wonder about the demographic they used. The language was leading, that's for sure:

However, there is significant support for using nets or meshing to protect beaches from sharks, with 25 per cent of people saying all beaches should be protected, while 60 per cent favour protecting "some beaches".

But only 15 per cent favour hunting down and killing sharks to make beaches safer.

"Hunting down"?? 60 percent are in favour of "protecting".

What with, the nets and meshing that sound so much nicer than "hunting down and killing"?

More rubbish, keep it coming jb.

Yeah I support that! If I was in your government I'd go after the guilty ones.
