Was listening to this podcast about Robby selling the Naish brand to the Dutch watersport distributor KUBUS.

At 24:45 he mentions he's started having problems with his heart from the you know what.

Insightful interview. I've had some Naish products, but never really knew a whole lot about Robby before.

Thanks for post. I've been riding Naish wave sails for 8 years now. I really love them. I hope the leadership change does not ruin that. I hope Robbie figures out his health issue.

Thanks for the link.

I'm a Robby fan, incredible all-round talent.

Only brought naish wave boom, Uni extension and my first kite.

Hopefully he gets his heart issues sorted.

I got Atrial Fibulation (afib) where get fast heartbeat but out of rhythm so you would feel really tired. Took a while to get diagnosed and mess but then kept getting worse so had a procedure to get it fixed. I was addicted to coffee and reduced to decaffeinated, then only one real coffee a day after exercise.

Listened to the full interview and interesting how he mentioned Design and Marketing and how he wants to get out of running the business and continue to design and test products on the water.
He took the option of keeping the company as going concern with so many long term employees. Sure over time there will be changes.

Good luck to him and the Naish brand should grow.

It's amazing how such a seemingly benign drink like coffee and tea can do. I had very serious mental health issue in my 30s. I would have something like 8 strong cups a day. Racing heart, panick attacks, some times hallucinations. It took me years to figure out. I stopped drinking caffeine for 5 years and all that went away. I've returned drinking coffee, but I am very careful with it (very small tea spoons, max 2 a day). I know the mental signs, and then cut it back. It's an age related thing as well I think. I figure, the older one gets, the harder it is for body to remove poisons from itself. Effects that weren't visible when young, slowly become seen when old.

Sadly that is true, I have always enjoyed coffee, however getting older I have realised that it is no longer for me. God I hate this ageing process.
