Always on the lookout for something a bit left of center. Suggestions?
"The Peanut Butter Falcon" was pretty good.

You"ve since mentioned it quite a lot of times like its some massive burn or running joke.

In the same vein on SBS there is Red Election, and if you don't mind reading your television, Blackout, which has 2 versions, German or Belgian which are very different stories. The German one was better
Or Norsemen, if you feel in the mood to send up Vikings
I think it's Prime, but Patriot is one of my favourite recent shows. Not many things make me laugh out loud but that is fantastic. 2 seasons with a perfect finish.
Thanks CT, not remotely interested in climbing but a great no BS movie.
Anything that leaves me evaluating my own existence is worth my time.
Any of us who can experience contentment in solitude will relate to this guy.

So, can I assume from his reaction that the Sussex records guy was collecting royalties all those years from South Africa and not passing any of it on to Sixto? Scum bag!
Mr Imbetweener was a great Aussie series, might be on Binge though, Binge is pretty good has some great series.
There's also a good series about a guy running a restaurant in New York, can't remember the name now, i'll have a look, I just remembered it is called The Bear, that is a very good series, might not be on Netflix though
Pepsi, where's my jet?
Just finished on yr recommendation :) good
There's a new series on Netflix called Kaleidoscope. Kind of crime caper/comedy with strong hints of the BBC series Hustle from a few years ago. Its particular selling point is that it gives you episodes in random order.
Anybody else watching it want to compare notes to check that?
I started Batman already 3x
And everytime shut down after first 30 second.
I may have another go one day
not on Netflix but The Barkley Marathons: The Race That Eats Its Young is a great docco
Available on google play
I can also recommend The Bridge if you are into a Nordic Noir (plus the lead character is "quirky"). All seasons still available on SBS On Demand for free
