I have a folder on my desktop named "Photos From My Phone"
and thought other sb 'ers might want to put some up, as I am always amazed when
I down load my pics from my phone to my PC how good they are for a phone photo

They look like pretty violent gnomes over there. It looks like one has beaten the other and stolen his fish:

What sort of phone is it?

My wife has an iPhone 4 and it takes pretty good photos. I have a cheapo Huwai Android phone and it take woeful photos.

On the other hand she pays $60 a month for her plan and phone and I bought the phone for about $100 and pay $7 a month for my plan.

I had a gnome He was called "Hip" that i made at school. Anyway he went walk about from a party once and travelled to the Gold Coast Spent a few months on the back packers bar at Marina Marage then traveled to Antibes in France and sailed the coast on a super yacht called "MY Senses". He eventually made it home about 6 years after he left my front yard

I recived post cards every now and then and even a few picks of him with strangers[}:)]

His head had been knocked of and re glued with Sika so he was a little worse for wear. A few years later he made it into the garden bin and it is one of my lifes regrets that i tossed him

Sorry old mate

My Samsung Galaxy S2, with 8MP camera is suprisingly good. It was our camera for a trip through Europe:
Needs no introduction -

Had way too much of this -

And closer to home, always a great event -

We also used it in NT - Kakadu etc - as a videorecorder. The full HD video is so crisp with amazing colours. Just a shame they don't have zooms!

Those picture from Europe are beautiful. You get what you pay for when it comes to camera phones.

This was freaky when I loaded up the photo

Taken 24th August 2012 Mandurah

I like to use "action" alot so I don't have to worry about standing dead still (-:
But it takes lousy shots inside with low light

Pretty amazing how far camera phone tech has come.

You'd still get better photos out of a fairly cheap digital camera though. But spur of the moment stuff is great with camera phones now. (At least in day time...)

Father's Day mini concert:

The *problem with camera phones (especially) is that a lot of people experience so many great things in life through their viewfinder.

At least with the above example it will get sent to nanny or whatever. But, I was at the aquarium the other day and it was hard to see the fish for all the people with camera phones, iPads and especially SLRs with external flash units getting in the way while they lined it all up. I'm not sure that some of them even saw anything with their own eyes. Who wants to see these photos, really? It's a fish. Steal the photos off the web and say you took them. What's the diff?

Schools need to organise a designated parent to film any concerts who can share via interwebs.

(Do I have to blur out all the faces above or is this a normal country?)

Does anyone ever want to watch someone else's huge amount of holiday film/photos/slides? Unless they are really special, anything more than a few, and it becomes hard to be enthusiastic.

I went on a Contiki tour years ago and one guy was always filming stuff and sort of missing out on a lot.

I can just picture his parents/friends/innocent bystanders... I think they would have lasted all of 3 minutes before they found excuses to leave. Well they would have if they were me

Not particularly good quality, just want to show off the view from my new office in Vancouver.

It's not really visible in the shot, but I've marked where I can see Lion's Gate bridge in between Stanley Park and North Vancouver.

Much better at looking at a fibro fence and a bit of the next door office's wall like I was in Perth.

Guys this is your phone. Aren't phones meant to be used for drunken shots? Not art shots.

Total misuse.

I use my iphone quite a bit for pics

here is one that i took using a great app called PROHDR - it takes 2 images at 2 exposres and intelligently stitches them together to optimally expose both the sky and the shadows

you get a look to your pics approaching a canon 5d mkII - its one of the most used apps on my phone.

You have to use a tripod or rail / super steady hand held to get the best results

the best camera you can have is the one on you!

have to agree on the pub pics use though
