There seems to be regular "park parties" at the venue... Every New Years from memory... Plus other occasions though the year?
$30k clean-up...
Is there a solution? Host an official function there?... Or would that just displace the "open park parties" into a different park venue... ???
Ideas anyone?
(As a minimum, the council needs to 'pencil in' $30k into their annual budget forecasts, to deal with this each year!

Well if that figure is true (its not like councils to inflate things) they should kick them out. why should councils fork the bill for people being dirty pigs.
i think melbounians should hang their heads,how can you throw a stubbie or paper in a beautiful place like that... would they doit in their own homes..
they do the same thing at the cup.
