Hi All
Looks like I'm the first to wish everyone a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.
I fly out this afternoon and will be off-line for 2 1/2 weeks.
Just wanted to say thanks to all on Seabreeze for the education and entertainment. It's been fun getting to know everyone's on-line personalities. I'm relatively new to the sport and the site...and I'm now addicted to both.
Looking forward to more in 2008.

Good Winds and Merry Xmas
Surfinchick

And Happy New Year

Hey surfinchick

I hope you have a safe flight and enjoy your time away!
I think if any of us kite Chrissy day or such... We HAVE to look like this!

So strange. Putting the tree up tonight with Mum. Funny how Chrissy changes the older you get (when u arent married and dont have kids or a large family) and just... yeah! Really interesting lol

Yeah Merry CHRISTmas and a Happy New Year to everyone here online too.
Just like Surfinchick has said it has been good here on Seabreeze for the education and entertainment. The internet is a strange place. Many online personalities make it a fun place to mingle.
I thought that this might be a good thread to post my apologies to anyone I have offended in the past. Please forgive my online personality, poor sense of humour, lack of sensitivity and any other way I have come across. This is the internet and trying to express our opinions and views on topics on a keyboard can be difficult. It is for me. Anywho... one thing we do have in common is our love for the ocean, wind and the waves and thats what has brought us all together.
I hope we can all enjoy this festive season safely with our loved ones.
For me its a time to think of why we celebrate CHRISTmas. Its a time for me to become less selfish. A time for giving and a time to think of those who need uplifting. And also a time to set new goals for the coming new year. There are many other reasons for myself and others.
Merry CHRISTmas everyone and have a safe and Happy New Year.
See you on the water

Yeah Christmas is kinda nice for most of us, regardless of religious affiliation, because its an affirmation of decency. Not to mention time off and holidays n bonuses n summer beach fun.

However, ironically perhaps, its a busy time for social workers. Christmas sees a peak in family break up and suicide. The absence of the very values we seek to promote (love, kindness, generosity et al) and loneliness are felt most keenly at this time of year.

Anyway, I trust and hope things are better than that for all of you. I have had a great time reading all your posts, some more than others, and I think the tenor of the old forum has improved of late. Thanks for that.

What did Tiny Tim say? "Merry Christmas to one and all"

We got the Christmas tree on Saturday (I picked it up in daughters, boyfriends GR8 Turbo Falcon Ute - the turbo really kicks in at 3000rpm)

But we can't start to decorate it til Wed, cos No1 daughter won't be back home til then...They love the tradition of Christmas & family.

have a great sharing Christmas....& send us some wind from WA

Got the kids (4yo & 2yo) to pack up a bunch of soft toys/teddies and dropped them (the toys!!) at St Vinnies this morn....gave them the whole "some kids don't get visited by Santa, this will make them happy!" talk....the youngest was in tears for a while, but they're both pretty stoked they did it now.....(and their rooms don't look so over-indulgent!)

Have a safe and fun break guys...hoping there's less time for forum posting, and more time on the water in the new year!

Merry Christmas to you all
Have too add same sentiments as the rest of you on Seabreeze, finest bunch of people to yarn too, question, throw jibes at, and generally pull the p1zz out of, I have had the pleasure to associate with.
Hope you all have a safe New Year, the breeze and waves are set just for you individually for 2008.

Yeah. Doesn't look like typical Grenache. Its a particularly good clone. Grenache normally has big fat berries which don't turn completely black but this clone has open bunches of smaller berries and they get really black and yummy.
