I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what model my vintage Keyo longboard is? It is approximately 9 foot 11/2" long and 23 and 1/2 inches wide. Photos attached.

It's about 1965 or 1966. With its broad front section, your board should be great for nose riding.

I still have a board that was custom made for me in 1967; a Gordon Woods 8'7" v-bottom. It was considered radically short for its day. It has the same style of fin as yours, but nowhere near as much rocker, nor the broad nose. The short board evolution had begun.

That's. so cool having that custom for so long .
.
I used to ride a board similar that had a 1956 surf craft permit sticker from Bondi on it .
Imagine that you had to register your boards back then

Send Big Spazz a PM - he is an authority on long boards of this era - must have 20 or more of them these days. A very nice and helpful bloke.

Mid 60s by the look of the logo.

And the board looks that era.

As Ted said send big spazz a msg.

Or you can Google image keyo and then look at the logos and try to find something similar with a date.

Hi Dasher.
This is a good reference as well. Has a catalogue with a wide range of boards by year.

Went to this auction awhile ago. Came away empty handed, bit to pricey for me, but interesting notes. Some Keyos in there

You have all been amazingly helpful! I had lots of fun with this board in the sixties, but it has been in retirement under my parent's house since 1971, rediscovered after my mum's death last year.
