Heading off to the Big Island in a months time.
Been reading up about it and came across the aforementioned beach. It's not far from where we are staying in Kona - it's not mentioned in the tourist guides, or google maps. But google images throws up lots of less than pretty results.
I'm gunna hire a jeep and will endeavour to find it.
