Yeah .....nah.Shocking job on the wheel arches, looks like a 16yr old just cut them square and added some sheet metal. Would of looked nice if the actual body guards were flared and rolled. And that massive bar running underneath the rear wheels, your going to have about as much clearance as your standard commodore.

Why? Well if you really want one, an old mate has just updated his 1999 Troopy for a 200 series. He always buys brand new. The Troopy is the last with the leaf spring solid front axle. NEVER BEEN OFFROAD. Pristine apart from a few miles. The Toyota dealer didn't offer enough of a trade so ATM he's got two. He's hoping one of all those who have stopped him in the street through the years, sentimental about Troopies and solid axles, will come good again with a respectable offer.

I'm in NSW my mate's from Vic. He's away touring up north in the new car, ( bitumen only of course) From memory the old one is this colour and condition. Should he put an ad in the seabreeze surf wagon section?

It reminds me a bit of the car Homer Simpson designed

Apparently it had 'rack and peanut steering'.
I'm pretty sure that toyota would have rack and peanut steering too.

I quite like it.

The light bar mounts look like an afterthought though - brackets from the home decor section of Bunnings pop rivetted on
