You're looking at a steadily expanding patch of de -vegetated beach side sand. Being smashed up by 4wds wanting to park just those last few metres closer to the water's edge.

It's beyond belief to witness the surge of individuals who possess traits such as entitlement, egocentrism, self-centeredness, conceit, and Narcissism. Their pompous and arrogant demeanor often trumps the well-being of others and the environment.
Take for instance, the disturbing trend of prioritizing personal comfort over the environment. It's disheartening to see individuals who consider their need to sit in the shade near the water's edge more important than preserving our planet's natural resources.
Yep.
If only the council would build a concrete seawall and pave the carpark we could save the environment.
Could expand the housing down to the waters edge and fence off all the private bits.
Would be so much better if it looked like this :
or this :
Maybe some folks who live in the sprawling suburbs of our ever-growing cities could come and advise how to do it properly.
Maybe start with cutting down the pandanus to improve the view ? And then add some shade structures to combat the heat.....
I reckon I got the best parking spot on the coast today.
Under the Pandanus, all on my own.

Looks like an amazing location. Where is it?
That lake you are parked next to is on the news a lot for being heavily polluted, they said it is more toxic than some of the rivers in India..![]()

Oh, and you were not alone, kite already out in the back ground while you were busy doing insta pics![]()
and the others are parked 30m away on the hill. lol![]()

Have you considered running for council?
Maybe you should - you have all the answers.
Are pandanus trees native to that area?
I'm not seeing a lot of positives about that parking spot. And reading the responses here, I think you made a mistake, by choosing to take a photo, brag and post that!

Is that because it has Caesium-137 capsules in it ?
Wow.
Literally wow.
I, so like, didn't expect this to go viral.
I mean wow.
Just a simple little pic of my awesome parking spot. Can't believe there are so many people out there jealous of everything the Carantoc does. Jealous of my perfect insta-life. My milksacks certainly do bring all the boys to the yard..
Look, I didn't want to do this, but maybe it would be in the public interest if I cleared up a few issues :
1) it ain't a secret spot, unless you consider signage from the highway to be secret
2) it is a council approved car-parking area, sign posted, rubbish bins in the corner, bollards to direct traffic, somebody even did a bit of weed management recently
3) if you park 30m up the hill (like lotowind does) then you gotta erode the sand dunes to climb down onto the beach.
4) you also got to wade through the exact same lake, except it is downstream of where I just pissed so doubly polluted
5) Lake pollution, pffft, what's a few inorganic chemicals and pesticides gonna do to the environment ???

You'se guys need to toughen up and stop sooking just because my parking spot was better than yours.
It must be some law of averages that no sooner did adriano bono leave (maybe before that was surfingboyo)
that we have myscreename inflicting his autisim and or sociopathy on here.
its like some sort of law of the jungle where no sooner get rid of one fscker and another one takes its place
You got a nice spot to park and your insta pics..........
but you didn't actually get in the water and poledance??? lol ![]()
I think you will find the bins you speak of are actually in the main car park, not on the destroyed by hoons creek bank.
And the top car park, the local wind junkies have staked in timbers to help stop eroding the dune, out of their own time and materials.
Luckily the locals are looking after the area.![]()
