Cinque Terre Italy.

A week or two later (Sept 2011) a landslide filled this bay with mud and rubble up to the first floor level.

Just got back from a snowboarding holiday in NZ, one day before we flew out my mate rings to say he'd done his knee playing footy.

I laughed (because it was soooooo inappropriate. C'mon people.)

Thanks panda...glad someone got the humour. I actually found a whole website of pics with people with guns posing with dead camels after putting "funny family holidays" in google, very disturbing!

To be honest, haven't had a family holiday for a long time (due to both myself & wife changing/downsizing our careers) so no pics to share, sorry.

Certainly dangerous creatures that need to be taken care of, thankfully we have heroes like these.

I found the Giraffes below really intimidating (Kruger NP, 2011) but i wasn't tough enough to do anything about them. Luckily after mocking me with their eyes they all left me alone.

Having some vegies to go along with the human it just ate.

Think this one was quenching its thirst right after a kill.

is that a joke? really is it?

From me...yes, it was a joke, albeit in bad taste (which I did know at the time, so not pleading ignorance and judging from the red thumbs not funny to many).

Unfortunately the photo is real (from the interweb - not me or anyone I know though - obvious redneck hunting family!).

Looks like the back of that truck has been blown out and the glass in the other buses has also been shattered. My guess is a massive explosion

It's more like a back to Sydney REALITY snap but wtf...

The queue to join the queue at Sydney Ap... I'd already been standing for ~35mins

I made an executive decision to join the foreign passport holders... seemed to be moving faster.

Total time from off the plane to taxi farking QUEUE 2hr 10mins... then in to the worse traffic I have experience anywhere in the world (normal Sydney day).

Love that shot Doggie - very Indian
I have a photo of a bare footed guy welding a truck rim next to a fuel tank vent pipe at a truck stop in Jaipur. Doubt wether the pipe had an backflow prevention.

I took the photo (on an old SLR) and then ran -wouldnt even consider taking the shot with a digital

Gotta love India
