How about this, a planet bigger than Jupiter that only has a 8hr day. And they worked it out using infrared doppler.

Now I wonder if anybody standing on it's surface would think the rest of the universe is spinning around them?

Most people pronounce "Doppler" incorrectly.

It is actually "DAARRP!!!!! luuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....."
