Dear All.
I lost my new Gopro Session 4 in the waves outside Sandy Point Lifesaving club 2 weeks ago.
It fell out of the clip-on frame when this opened from an impact.
Somehow I believe that little black box would be washed up on the beach on low tide.
If you know people walking there regularly please share this post. There was a 32GB SD card in it and probably some footage of me windsurfing in the waves incl. one of my first back loops.
The dear finder will be amply rewarded.
C'mon - make my day ;-)
They can wash in if they don't get stuck on something. I found one on the beach peaking out from under a bunch of seaweed, it was lost just over a year before by Levi Siver while w'surfing at my beach in California. It had a little water in it, so things were pretty corroded but I was able to get the card out of it, rinsed it off, dried it, stuck it into my computer and it worked. It just showed Levi walking to the water, beach start, hit the first wave, then it was just showing sand on the bottom followed by sky thru the water, over and over again while it rolled along the bottom for as long as the battery lasted. I gave the card to a good friend of his and mine, who mailed to card to Levi, the camera and the case were toast.

I lost one at Umina NSW years ago. I would like to think that someone would bother to get it back to me.[I just realised I stopped photographing my business card with each new SD card - thanks for the reminder.]
They are tough lil cameras. I found one while snorkelling at Yaroomba Qld. Took it home , charged it. Watched the footage of a thunder cat ripping out thru the surf at Maroochy river. Great footage of them flipping the boat n camera sinking. The date on the footage was 6 years before i found it!!! It had washed about 12km thru the surf to where i found it.Sure the camera had barnacles n algae all over it. But it still was good to go. AMAZING....Never found the owner. Good luck with finding yours.
