Hi All, Has anyone used a wrist mount for GoPro while surfing. I'm thinking about buying a gopro for an indo trip and was looking at the wrist mount. I'm not interested in any POV footage but would just like to get a bit of footage of my mates. These wrist mounts look like they would make it pretty quick to shoot a bit of footage on the paddle out. My main concern was that it may rip off under a heavy beating. Cheers

Ive got one but never used it. I tend to mount the camera to my boards when i have my kids with me and just spin the board to get shots.

If you've got a Go Pro than you welcome to try the wrist mount first. I don't think it would rip of its rather solid. But if your really worried i know people just use lanyards as a safe guard..

Just shout.
