Obviously the show wanted the falsely announced winner (actual runner-up) to win so bad they weren't content with ultra bias in guiding the voting and just went and announced her as the winner (briefly). Extra bonus world wide attention for their chosen one that way too. Low.

Quality television.. apparently.
