Could be worth watching on Channel 7 tonight. 6.30pm.

Not many other people (other than FitzSimons) could get away with calling Fevola a "a low mongrel dog", face to face !!

Anyone know what Fevola was paid for that ??? (I don't know).

PS - there's no need to rant and rave about you opinions on Fevola.... Keep it positive please. Fev has done some great things on the field, as has FitzSimons.

Football, rugby, professional wrestling; they're all just flavours of soap opera for people who love watching guys man-handling other guys.

As a long suffering Bears/lions fan I feel pretty sad for Fev. I'd love to think he could get to the point of playing top line footy again........ OR.......he could stay exactly the same and become the first man to transfer from football to rugby league where he would become an instant role model. By the way League fans, your game is a total load of ****, the sooner you all come towards the light the better!!

must (not) feel sorry for that idiot! his brain must be he size of a pea!
Anybody that loose over 1 million at the casino should be bitten to a pulp! And oh yes it is not his fault..... because he was a top AFL player he believed there was a different set of rules for him... poor baby! Next time I will hear Fevola or Ben C. names mentionned on TV I swear I will vomit!

Yeh I watched it and what a dumb f-ck,I feel sorry for the likes of him.

Living in a no town,no education and wammo I can kick goals and get paid a fortune.
So much money so fast without guidance = trouble.

At the end of the day,I hope he returns and makes enough $ to live a comfortable life.

What's the definition of a scrum...one man trying to shove two men's heads up three men's arses.

But what's really worrying is all that cuddling and then showering together after the game. Imagine that at your workplace, at the end of the week look to your workmate and say "hey what a good week, lets get naked and shower together"

Fevola has been a real idiot and wrecked his life but I do feel sorry for him. Gambling like any addiction is emotional behaviour and rational thinking doesn't always come into it.

Scene - Swans Carlton match
Us - mixed swans / Richmond(me) / WCE fans positioned behind the goal posts (spur of the moment decision to go to the footy) just behind the Carlton cheer squad

Moment - fev wrestling, falls over and attempts a off the ground soccer kick which ends up up out of the bounds on the full. The swans supporter in our group yells out "The girls in front of us hope your best work is done lying down"

The Carlton girls in front of us - all early 20's (and pretty decent looking) roar with laughter and spend the next quarter telling us all the rumour and gossip of Fev.
Even at that point (pre photo scandal / brownlow / Lions debacle) there was a great deal of pity in the comments flying around.

The fact that it is still in the media so many years later is sad for Fev and a reflection on the rest of us for being bothered to watch.

BTW - I think the bloke is a pillock

I tried that with the receptionist once. Worked a treat.

But seriously - such passion for something you guys can obviously choose not to watch or participate in. I feel the same way about cricket (sorry guys) but I don't feel the need to spout crap. Sounds like avoidance issues here, bit of homophobia thrown in as well? .....
