Anyone else experiencing similar?

I have IE8 32 & 64 bit versions on Win 7 Professional 64 bit and recently allowed an Adobe Flash update after being pestered day after day. Now embedded YouTube links in posts appear like the image below.

Google has been no help. Anyone got any suggestions?

Installed Flash version is 10.1.102.64

I've found the problem.
All those You Tube links are about kitesurfing.
You're asking too much of it.

^^^ I'm at work at the moment which blocks YouTube anyway.

Pretty sure I can still go to YouTube and watch video. The links definately work if I use Chrome so it's just IE8 that seems to be busted after the Flash update cause they used to work.

Once they sort their s*it out with Flash. Its really starting to annoy me now that I have an ipad, previously I never really thought much about it but now that I have an apple product I can not believe how much stuff you miss out on.

Just tried again.. The thread is "west Oz clip" in the wavesailing section. Nothing comes up in the form of embedding. Maybe another iPhoner could give it a go. Vimeo works fine on my Mac top. Can't say I remember seeing a vimeo on my iPhone before. Will log into site to see what happens.
I love my iPhone. Seabreeze any where! Don't even open the computer any more lol

Edit
Test vimeo below

vimeo.com/

Hmm didn't embed oh well copy paste is as complicated as I can get!!!

For vimeo you need to use the short url (changed the slashes to asterisks so that you could see the text rather than the video):

Well there you have it. A big white area where an embedded video should be...

The phone uses QuickTime player I believe. Also I don't think they update as much as a their desktop slash laptop cousins. This phone hasn't been plugged into its computer for a while but i don't think it would matter.

Does anyone like the rabbit?

Wotzy, Iphone and Ipad don't play Vimeo but will play Youtube, sorry but you will have to revert to the Mac for Vimeo.

Seems weird I can watch the rabbit with funny teeth on the site but not when embedded???

here's the quick solution <5mins
install google chrome, goodbye IE8

note
IE8 64bit has no flash player or activeX available
IE8 32bit in windows 7 and office 2010 has security, filters, certificate settings and god knows what so tight that limits embedded videos, no file downloads and no favorites - upshot - its too hard MS.
i didnt go to the point of uninstalling flash and IE8 and reinstalling - which supposedly will fix it

uninstall is not a real word

I ditched Internet Exploder 8 within a day or two of installing it ages ago.
It had all sorts of problems on my machine, which is an old 3GHz single core processor.
I went back to Exploder 7 which works fine on everything. Why change something which you know works for something that the seller says should work much better but maybe not?
(Which is why I'm all for keeping the monarchy. )
