Nothing supposed about that being a bomb range...it was. I was a copper at Rockingham for a little while and I'd say once a fortnight whilst Warnbro was being developed a bomb would get dug up whilst site works were going on. Bomb disposal used to come down from Karrakatta to take care of them.
I saw this and thought... yep that's entirely plausible. ;-)
