Ambar Arianto Mulyo, 59, had offered to help capture the 4.5m long snake after it was spotted several times near the hotel in Sanur ??? Bali's resort island area.
Agung Bawa, assistant security manager at the hotel which is closed for renovations until 2015, said the python was spotted slithering across a road near the Bali Hyatt hotel at around 3am yesterday.
