kiteboy, you know more about it than me, that was my point. I just had it emailed to me and thought the mixing was clever...personally, I don't like most of the songs in it, although together they don't sound too bad.
Never went through the hip-hop stage, lived through early-80s rap and went straight to glam-metal - def leppard, poison
, motley crue, GNR etc...late 80's led me on to AC/DC, Dio, Cinderella, Wasp...by 90's I've gone back a few decades Chisel, Creedence, Meatloaf etc...now it's whatever sounds good...
Must admit some of the hip-hop is pretty cool - fav (& this might show my ignorance) RUN DMC & Aerosmith 'Walk this way' & Beastie Boys. I remember walking around the schoolyard (a few decades ago) saying "dont push me...coz I'm close to the eeeedge...I'm trying not to lose my heeeeead...uh-huh uh-huh! (Funny now as a 36yo baldy saying it to kids!)
