I needed some cheap paint for a reno on the granny flat and what could be cheaper than an auction. Unfortunately all lots on the online auction end at exactly the same time, since I need at least 40 litres I bid on a handful of different lots in the hope I'd win one, well, I'm now the proud owner of 132 litres of paint, I ended up winning three lots, on the plus side all of that was still cheaper than 40 litres from the shop.

I ended up going to the doctor today to get my ear syringed and the WKRS no longer bulk bill.

Had to pay 82 dollars for 10 minutes max with 39.75 to be reimbursed later from Medicare.

Not going back there again.

Paint at Bunnings i looked at yesterday in passing and the prices are exorbitant.

For around a 10 litre can i was seeing prices between 100 and 150.

Where did u get the paint? Every time I go to bungglings paint seems to have gone up by 10%. I'm trying to use standard Colorbond colours bcos nobody seems to match properly.

Took the kids to the wife's dentist (she made the appointment) today for the six monthly pointless professional clean. $230 each.
My dentist still bulk bills for kids.

When I need paint for a quick job, I contact a local house painter, leave a slab in his shed and walk away with whatever I want, as long as I dont touch anything in the front right corner of shed. Seriously double garage size shed, with racks of paint. Usually mix my own and come up with satisfactory colours.

I guess there'll be paint on gumtwee this weekend. I've had great results scouring the mis-tint pile at my local paint shop.

I've still got buyers remorse from 1984 when I purchase an engagement ring.

There's a free one sitting somewhere on the bottom where the waves break at the southern end of One Mile Beach.
