Crap - go and sit in court and listen to the sob stories about how they offended due to drug use.
Who chose to take the drugs in the first place?
I say yet again - just because you can do illicit drugs and are OK does not mean it is good for all, or to the benefit of society to legalise it.
Look at the abject misery caused by alcohol. Do we really want to legalise other stuff?
Can't believe how many people here are druggies. I get my stoke from watersports (no, not that kind P.R)
Well just shows how much work our legal system needs.
How do
you know who can or can't handle what?
Do you drink? Eat ice cream? Take anything that makes you feel nice?
I'm guess yes.
Now suppose your thing is eating a natural herb or weed... because it makes you feel relaxed, helps you concentrate and helps you deal with your emotional problems... insecurities about your health, realisation on your finite existence, confusion with direction, lack of creativity... etc.
Now me being the whatever I am, weed makes me paranoid and I feel better if I temporarily give myself mild amnesia with a couple beers.
Those same beers have little effect on you, but it makes other people overconfident and more predisposed to violence... Would society benefit from this person choosing a different drug? Does the person want to be violent or high?
All drugs can be taken safely.
If a chainsaw is legal, every drug should be legal.
The problem is people know a chainsaw is dangerous, but they don't know anything about drugs.
I don't even think tobacco or alcohol should be legal unless the user has some basic idea of what it is.
Sure there are <tards who give certain drugs a bad name... but what about Coke:
Cinamon:
I'd show you alcohol and cars, but kids may be reading.
We only get 1 life, let everybody play the way they want.
