The global evil giant corporation does it again :(
Exiting the esplanade train station yesterday I was greeted by the abhorrent vision of McCafe handing out free coffee.
How do these w@n^er$ get such a prime position to advertise their wares?
A company that has fueled environmentally unsound farming pratices and is a major contributor to the obesity problem facing society should be told to get knicked!
Also, the small retailers that provide a morning caffine fix to commuters are also being affected.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to voice my disgust at the location of a McCafe handing out free coffee at the esplanade train station.

A company that has done very little for the WA community and had contributed to both environmental destruction and degradation through abhorrent farming practices and is a major contributing factor to the obesity problem faced by our community should not be allowed to advertise and trade in such a prominent position.

I’m sure that small retailers within the city that provide coffee to morning commuters are also being affected by this practice.

I believe that this repulsive trade should cease immediately.

I know the stuff is bad for you. But mmmmmmmmmmmmmm macca's. The other day after walking the dog on the beach, we both went to get a cheeseburger each.
She LOVES them. She also likes her own vomit, so it might not be saying much.
But they are pretty good. And the frozen cokes, beats the ones at the cinemas.

Free caffeine?????Where. I love the V hilux, and the red bull weird car thing. The hilux can fit so much in.

Although eating maccas makes you fat. I don't think they can be blamed. If your fat from eating the stuff, the only person you have to blame is yourself.

I know nothing about the farming problems?

I love Macca's coffee myself, one of the best drive through coffee's around, $3.25 for a great tasting large flat white, excellent. More Macca's the better I say.

In answer to your question, no, I am not talking through my speedo’s. I genuinely believe McDonalds coffee from the McCafe to be an excellent option when I want a drive through coffee. I like the taste, the price and the availability as there are many McCafe’s around.

Caffenie is a drug. I see my dad addicted to it and its just as bad as smoking cigarettes or drinking too much beer. Coffee should be regulated like cigarettes or alcohol. I work in a private school and I see teenagers drinking two or three coffees in the morning.

So yeah, McDonalds is acting like a drug pusher. It pisses me off McDonalds potrays themselves as helping local communities through giving burgers to some kids or giving cash to a footy team to build a dunny. In the meantime half a dozen local takeaways go out of business.

My biggest gripe with Maccas is the amount of rubbish it generates. It seems half of roadside and footpath litter is Maccas wrappers.
And also that ad on tv where the bloke puts his chips in with his cheeseburger - I thought I invented that combo 20 years ago. Still the only thing I eat from there, and that's about once every couple of years.

Yes they do create a lot of rubbish, as well as the the wrappers

How is it their fault that the customers throw the rubbish on the ground though
