Hi all,
Looking to find a good app for an Android phone to give me wind information that I can use to try predict when I can go Kite boarding.
Looking for one that ideally does forecasts as well as current wind conditions.

Any recommendations??

Thanks

I wouldn't mind a 1x1 widget that simply displayed direction & strength at nearest or chosen weather station. Something like a windsock with a few different graphics that rotated and had the numbers under. Or a single seabreeze arrow. I'd probably pay money for it. (listening seabreeze devs?)

get to know the nearest bom live wind readings (bom website) and how that translates to your local. i.e. 15knots se at airport = 17 knots at beach etc...

I usually lick my finger and hold it up in the air to gauge strength and then turn my head into the general direction of the wind until the wind noise is the same in each ear. Then I know the wind is coming from where my nose is pointing.
