busterwa, you didn't need all that high tec stuff, unless you are are fan of Gearge Dubaya and wanted to give them some "shock and awe".
If you go out there at night time, they are all sleeping soundly in their little bee beds and you just walk up, bold as brass and give them a serve. And then run.
They are not equiped for night VFR so even if they launch an attack, without the required navigation equipment, they soon lose their way and crash.
You can go back in 15 minutes and give them another serve if you missed any the first time.
It's not a nice thing to do but for very small swarms around the house, no one is interested in picking them up so it's about all you can do.
(And they definitely don't look like stingless natives which are much smaller numbers and darker bees.
They just look like common all garden variety introduced european honey bees. (more eurotrash
