Hi all, could someone suggest a spot between Pitt water and Botany Bay to beach my yacht. I need tie spots for the mast halliards eg. Mangroves or wreak to stand her on the keel. I used Newcastle last year, however the tides are around New Years eve and i will be in Sydney.

Anti-foul on a beach is fowl indeed...

Isn't this illegal? Even in Newcastle?

FWIW, I assisted an elderly friend to shovel off thick growth in/on Watsons Bay once - about 8 years ago. Bit bold in view of the pub on a hot summers day. We thought it would be OK, as it was a weekday...

While kayaking headwaters of Middle Harbour in 2010, I came across an arrogant older guy who had careened his vintage (?) motor boat, so as to paint the hull and keel.

Why are you having trouble with chooks on your yacht?
I would have thought once you cast off you wouldn't see any chooks at all.
Well not live ones anyway.
And anyway, what have you got against chooks?
Can't you just fry them up and eat them?

Hmmm,..Very strange indeed. !

Thanks Wollemi, Watson and middle harbour are reasonable choices ;)
Dam chooks Pweedas, the buggers swim after me and shaw they give me their eggs but what a mess! Like paint all over the beach, which is illegal. I guess if they keep things clean then no law is broken ;))....
