Best comment ever from his brother:

"There was no rushing him to the hospital. There was no Devon left when I got there".

What part of launching fireworks on your head was going to end well?

It's not like YouTube isn't full of 'research' material.

They are contemplating an IQ test to qualify for a Darwin Award. It's just too easy at present.

Will you have to stay under the line, or above it to qualify?

Definately above! Someone playing with explosives or pointing an "unloaded" gun at their head can't qualify. Wasn't the original Darwin award granted to the bloke who flew into the heavens in a chair attached to a number of helium weather balloons.......that sets the height of the bar if you pardon the pun.

Oh don't kid your self, if Australia was allowed to have fireworks on the scale that the USA does, it would be a bogan killing field over here

Ahhh the good old days,. when you were free to blow as many fingers off as you liked, but just once a year.

I still miss it. (Guy Fawkes night that is,. not my fingers. )
Maybe if we still had Guy Fawkes night then people wouldn't be so inclined towards joining ISIS to go and blow themselves up.
It really hurts!

Stupid must be genetic. I went to a job where dad was teaching his young teenage son and his mates how to make pipe bombs out of easily obtainable household ingredients. It was about 15 years ago but from memory mum and some of the other parents were there, none stopped them. Kid got partially disembowelled.
