From what it shows on the movie trailer it will be a nice day for kite surfing.
Great waves and nice wind (I should buy a 6m kite for it though).

Highest IQ in the history belongs to Isaac Newton with IQ=200 and every other human's IQ has been measured on this basis (you are all varied between 90 to 130).
Even that genius Newton spent the last 20 years of his life to find out when is the final day base on information provided on "holy book"!

He came up with 2069 I guess but he never asked himself; "did really gOD created the whole world 6000 years ago (according to bible)"

Anyway it was the biggest waste of talent in history like sending Albert Einstein to find big foot.

Stop being worry about movie titles and have fun every second of your life as today might be your last day.

The Mayans predicted the worlds end in 2012

Known as Time's Special Witness, 7th century Mayan prophet Pacal Votan left a universal message for future generations of an evolving Earth.

Proclaiming,"If Humanity Wishes To Save Itself From Biospheric Destruction It Must Return To Living in Natural Time," he foretold of our accelerated technological society, and the resulting damage of our collective divergence from Natural Law in exchange for materialist values.

Not everyone's - the term "idiot" is sometimes used to refer to people having an IQ below 30.

PS -Just joking.

Maurice Cotterells' book the Mayan Prophecies is a pretty good read.
also his book; Jesus, King arthur and the journey of the Holy grail is a total spin out.

if 'they' are onto something 'they' would have known decades upon decades in advance and would have kept us useless eaters in a state of mushroom like exsistence (in dark fed sh!t) while 'they' went about planning for 'their' own survival.
occasionally snippets leak through both viral and real. like the twenty story deep bunker complex just outside of canberra.

google or bing, D.U.M.B or 'artwork at denver airport'

Dids they factor in leap years which were devised later, and the annual "official" 1/4sec shift (or whatever it is) to the clocks due to the orbit of the earth becoming bigger and years thus get longer?
maybe it will be a few days early or late

Below 80 is mentally retarded, 80 to 95 is count as slow or "Idiot"

Idiot used to indicate the greatest degree of intellectual disability, where the mental age was two years or less, and the person could not guard himself or herself against common physical dangers. The term was gradually replaced by the term profound mental retardation.

Class IQ
Profound mental retardation Below 20
Severe mental retardation 20–34
Moderate mental retardation 35–49
Mild mental retardation 50–69
Borderline intellectual functioning 70–80

Anyway all this is irrelevant as the world ends in a couple years time.

The Mayans created 3 calendars and basically it resulted in every day for 50000 years having it's own distinct "name" (actually a combination of names and numbers). It is still the most accurate calendar ever created (thats why they didn't need leap years). It runs out for the first time in it's history on December 21 2012, thats why they (the Mayans) assumed the world would end on that day

Seeing as that civilisation no longer exists maybe they should have been trying to predict the arrival of the spanish instead

I think everyone will over-react and waste heaps of money on useless things (ala Y2k bug) and I will go surfing.

It should provide a good oppurtunity to buy early Xmas pressies as all the superstitious people will wait until the 22nd to spend any money, just in case the world ends!

i've read, the dates closer to 2010, thats why j murray's slip of dec 21 2010 caught my eye.
who knows, who cares, if the predictions and aftermath forecasts are right, survivors will envy the dead anyway....
all you can do is live everyday like your last and everybody love everybody as if you'll never see them again...
which we really should be doing anyway, regardless of end dates

Will you accept plots of land on the Moon in exchange for the tickets?
The plots are worth $1200 each so if you give me $200 and a ticket, I'll happily trade the valuable moon plot with you.
Hey, when the Earth comes to an end those plots of land on the Moon will invaluable.

Funny you should mention that because the Moon is where my front row seats are.

You can't watch the world end while you are still on it can you?

Forward thinking business people like us should collaborate. Would you be interested in a joint venture with "The Moon Shuttle"

It's getting a bit embarrassing actually, I've recently introduced myself a couple of times to customers as Elmo.
A few who when I've found they sail or kite I've told them I'm Elmo they've laughed (for some strange reason) so much for trying to set a good impression
