Drive was awesome. It was the schlockiest b-grade script yo've seen a million times from the 80's and 90's with the most stylised gloss put over it i've ever seen. It made me think "what is a movie?". No really, I give it 4 stars, and the Director deserves all his awards.
...was I watching it right?
edit: It was like a modern western where the character has no name and no history and we know the other characters better than the main character, and each shot was painstakingly done, ie the opposite of Transformers with 10,000,000 cuts.
Also teh Jacket.
Senna was just awesome. Best doco I've seen in that it was really a heart-tugging, dramatic doco, not the usual educational ones. The last scene where you know he's going to die, and what's going through his head all weekend... man. Someone was chopping onions in the next room i swear.
True story: I missed a flight last night (by 2 minutes) because I had to watch it until the end.
Submarine: so glad I'm not the only person to have seen this. My favourite movie of the year

. I liked how he was far from a hero, him and his dad both kinda pathetic, real people. Very, VERY funny too.
