Had a great session in 20+kts and driving home with a smile on my face. Someone's turning and I see if I pop up onto the kerb I can get around easy. Alas the leaves cover a nasty hole or drain or something and I totalled my tire. So out comes all the gear and I start changing the tire.

Next thing I know a guy from across the road is yelling out offering help. He was behind me in the traffic and saw it happen. He had driven around the block and parked and come to check that I had a jack etc. Good guy! Thanked him and said I was ok.

Two minutes later a cyclist stops... got everything you need buddy, need any help?

Nice to know there are a lot of good folk out there who are just as busy as me but will take the time to see if someone needs a hand. It's not unique to Australia but I'm bloody glad we've got it.

Have you thought that it may have been that as you were bending over , your butt crack could have been the attraction?
