Just heard John Fwit Kerry denouncing Russia's decision to supply ground to air missiles to Syria as a threat to Israels security. Given that Israel recently launched an air attack on Syria and that the "NATO" alliance is funding the insurgents I found this somewhat bemusing.

Can anyone explain how providing a country the means to defend itself threatens the security of the aggressor?
