Is 3D an overrated fad?
Went to see Hugo by Martin Scorsese yesterday in 3D. It was touted as a 'must see in 3D' by Margaret and David as it was 'made digitally to take most advantage of 3D'.
Anyway, the battery operated glasses weigh a ton. And watching the thing is an eye strain.
It looks artificial. No admiring the beautiful camera work that you often get in 2D.
All up, I'm over it.
