Ben Owzinsk is a prone paddle boarder who competes in the Victorian Flatwater Series. Ben makes all his own prone boards and at the Great Peninsula Paddle he asked Kristi Page if she could stand on his prone board and paddle it? The wind was blowing 20+ kn Kristi laughed jumped on the prone board and paddled around the Sorento Harbour.

Ben wanted to do an experiment to make a hybrid SUP / Prone Board that was at its widest point 21 1/4 inches this is what he came up with and Kristi paddled it today on the Barwon River.

Simondo did make a valiant effort that was all time funny to watch but no cigar.

Could you even stand on a board this narrow? 21 1/4 widest to 9 narrowest?

Downwind and upwind it was pretty fast and she could even kick turn it in 15 - 20kts
