So I went out to good old Beachmere yesterday to try out another couple of old boards, There was myself (obviously), Nowork, and one of my mates. Nowork (Tony) Said there was a few big Jellies out in the water, well he was right about that. Usually the blue blubber jellies dont bother me, I have swam in and around them for years at Beachmere. This time for some reason the s#%T of a things got me good.
One got the back of my knee, left a nice really bad instant rash to the point where my leg was starting to get stiff and very sore, Still really red today but not as painful. another one got me above my foot and below my knee, also very sore but not as bad.
I think I will be investing in a full leg length wet suit shortly. Has anybody had this issue before? As I said above they have never effected me like this before. But some of them were huge. I have been picking them up for years, dropping them on myself etc etc never had issues with them until yesterday. Could it be a mild allergic reaction this time?
