Has anyone yet invented a variable angle fin after the principle of the centerboard but with an efficient gasket system?
The fin could be foiled to work at its optimum angle 40-50 degrees but provide lift at lower speed on narrow boards.
Perhaps a two piece solid gasket shaped to provide an accurate fit at the required angle at speed?
Too hard?
Or an adjustable vertical fin in an enclosure fitted with the required lift mechanism??
