Queensland's Surf to City - Following the postponement of the 2011 Surf to City Yacht Race in January due to the floods, the race will now be held on Saturday 5th March. With the busy summer racing calendar around the Brisbane area, the Race Organisations have gone to extensive lengths to ensure there are no date clashes. In addition to the existing entrants, the Organising Authority looks forward to receiving entries from skippers who were unable to attend the original event in January such as those yachts who were making their way back from Hobart.
