NSW Maritime is sending six officers experienced in shoreline clean ups to assist with the Queensland flood response, Chief Executive Steve Dunn said today. Mr Dunn said the NSW Maritime officers were being drawn from various regions across the State. 'Maritime Safety Queensland has put out a request for specialists to assist in the area of marine and shoreline clean up and these six officers have volunteered,' he said.
