Visitors to the 2009 Brisbane Boat Show will be among the first in the state to experience two world-class vessels on display for the first time in Queensland at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, August 27-30.
Marine Queensland events manager Mr Jason Plant said it was an honour to have the 49th annual boat show selected as the launching pad for the 430 Sundancer and Bar Crusher 760HT.
'This is the first time the two boats have been seen in Queensland and we're excited that we're able to present such prestigious vessels to the public at an event that is affordable for families,' Mr Plant said.
Exhibitor Andrew Bennett of the Queensland Marine Centre said the 470 Sundancer on show at the exhibit sets a new standard in the industry with a large open cockpit, private double guestroom, wet bar and much more.
'We're so excited to be revealing the 470 Sundancer to Queensland and it will be great to see the other marine exhibitors lifting the bar in an industry effort to beat the downturn,' Mr Bennett said.
For keen fishermen, Stones Corner Marine's Bar Crusher 760HT is the ultimate long-range offshore fishing craft. With an engine rating of up to 300 horsepower, it offers second-to-none maneuverability and versatility.
The two boats will be on display at the Brisbane Boat Show along with a range of vessels, fishing equipment and materials from up to 100 industry exhibitors. The show will also exhibit new models from Ally Craft, Ensign, Lewis, Bayliner, Maxum, Kencraft, Whittley and Horizon.
