Underground Sport Filmers in Spotlight for new TV show
Skuff TV, Australia?s leading action sport video website, is set to expand its audience beyond the internet, hitting Australia?s TV sets from next month.
Teaming up with Fuel TV, Foxtel?s action sport channel, Skuff TV will see its weekly episode The Skuff Report airing over a series of regular prime time-slots on the pay TV provider from May 2nd.
The Skuff Report is an exciting cross-platform initiative that sees the latest action sport news and reviews packaged up alongside video sourced from the users of the Skuff TV website and presented both online and to a broadcast TV audience.
Dave Keam, Skuff TV?s General Manager, says that it?s an exciting opportunity for underground filmers in the fields of action sport and youth culture to get some serious exposure for their work.
?Airing our episodes on Fuel TV means that when content providers upload to our website, they?re getting the opportunity to have their work beamed out on Australian TV.?
?There are a lot of awesome filmers producing great quality videos that barely get seen because they?re not established or they don?t have the money to market their work. We wanna fix that and provide an avenue for these guys to get noticed.?
Fuel TV?s Channel Manager Adam Howarth is equally excited about The Skuff Report?s launch onto the small screen.
?Over the last couple of years the Skuff lads have provided us with some great content and we believe our audience will like what they?re about to dish up,? Adam says.
?With the network of shooters and athletes Skuff has access to we reckon they?ll be able to deliver a stack of news, lifestyle & music that blows peoples? minds.?
Each program will air several times over the course of a weekend, beginning Friday May 2nd, and feature current news, reviews of the latest action sport DVDs, filmer and athlete profiles, music segments, and much more.
Filmers or companies who are keen to get involved can contact the Skuff TV team via the website www.skuff.tv'>www.skuff.tv or by email at info@skuff.tv.
